1990 AND PRIOR STEEL WHEELS NOT TO BE USED ON 1991-1992

SUBJECT: STEEL WHEELS FROM 1990 AND PRIOR VEHICLES ARE NOT TO BE USED ON 1991-92 ROADMASTERS (INFORMATIONAL)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991-92 ROADMASTER ESTATE WAGONS; 1992 ROADMASTER SEDANS

CONDITION:

----------- A concern exists that customers may use steel wheels from 1990 and prior years (which use English fasteners) that will not mate properly with 1991-92 production Roadmaster metric wheel nuts.

CAUSE:

------- Steel wheels from 1990 and prior years will go on but will not fit properly, because the metric wheel nuts do not mate properly with the English wheels.

CORRECTION:

------------ When specifying steel wheels, use production 1991-92 steel wheels only, P/N 9591652, with wheel nuts P/N 9590477.
