Causes

Low pressure due to the steering pump is present.

    • A seized flow control valve
    • An inoperative flow control valve
    • A worn pressure plate or thrust plate
    • An improperly installed pressure plate or thrust plate
    • A cracked thrust plate or pressure plate
    • A broken thrust plate or pressure plate
    • A worn cam ring
    • A worn rotor
    • Worn vanes
    • Vanes sticking in the rotor slots
    • High internal pump leakage
