ACRYLIC COATING TOUCH UP PAINT NEW PRODUCT ORDER INFORMATION

MODELS AFFECTED: ALL WITH ACRYLIC PAINT

A new product is being marketed by NMB Paint Sales, Inc., which will effectively match existing paint colors and touch up nicks and scratches on vehicles finished with acrylic paint.

Pads of postage paid order forms (see attached sample) can be obtained from NMB Paint Sales at the address listed below. The dealer can supply these forms to the customer at new car delivery or anytime a customer requests touch up paint. The customer completes the order (imprinted with the dealer's address) and mails it with their check to NMB Paint Sales. The customer receives their paint directly from NMB and the dealer receives the profit ($1.04) per bottle) as a direct reimbursement.

This program gives the customer an easy way of obtaining the correct touch up paint and the dealer doesn't have to order or stock an inventory of touch up paint.

This reasonably priced product provides the owners with a car care proouct to maintain that new car look. Proud Buick owners are satisfied owners who return to your dealership to purchase their next Buick.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
