VAC. PUMP BROKEN/LOOSE BRACKET NEW BRACKET AND BRACE

THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR VEHICLES THAT MAY EXPERIENCE EITHER A LOOSE VACUUM PUMP ATTACHING BOLTS OR BROKEN ATTACHING BRACKET. 1. REMOVE EXISTING PUMP BRACKET AND DISCARD. INSTALL NEW BRACKET PART NO. 22521093 USING THREE (3) BOLTS PART NO. 11504337 TORQUED TO 20-27 N.M. (15-36 FT. LBS.). 2. REMOVE R.H. FORWARD EXHAUST MANIFOLD STUD AND REPLACE WITH STUD PART NO. 3975998 TORQUED TO 34 N.M (25 FT. LBS.). 3. INSTALL BRACE PART NO. 22521092 (SEE FIGURE 1) USING NUT 9414934 TORQUED TO 20-27 N.M (15-36 FT. LBS.) AND SCREW PART NO. 14060613 SEATED AND NOT STRIPPED. 4. RESET AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR DRIVE BELT TO 500 NEWTONS MINIMUM TENSION. (SEE ILLUSTRATION)
