Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 620811 Size: SH
  1. Open the seat belt guide loop cover.
  2. Remove the bolt from seat belt guide loop.

    3. Object Number: 620809 Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt guide loop from the pillar.

    4. Object Number: 620807 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt from the rear seat belt lower anchor.

    5. Object Number: 620816 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor.

    6. Object Number: 620814 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the bolt from the rear seat belt retractor.

    8. Object Number: 620812 Size: SH
  8. Remove the rear seat belt retractor from the rear quarter inner panel.
  9. Remove the rear seat belt retractor assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 620812 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat belt retractor to the rear quarter inner panel.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolt to the rear seat belt retractor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt retractor bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Place the rear seat belt lower anchor to the lower rear quarter lower trim panel.

    5. Object Number: 620807 Size: SH
  5. Install the bolt to the rear seat belt lower anchor.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt lower anchor bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  6. Place the seat belt guide loop to the pillar.

    7. Object Number: 620811 Size: SH
  7. Install the bolt to seat belt guide loop.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt guide loop bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  8. Close the seat belt guide loop cover.
