Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 535684 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front door trim panel assembly in order to expose the speaker. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
  2. Remove the speaker screws.
  3. Disconnect the wire harness from the speaker.
  4. Remove the speaker.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 535684 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the speaker to the door trim panel assembly.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the speaker screws to 3.2 N·m 28 lb in).

  2. Connect the wire harness to the speaker.
  3. Install the trim panel assembly to the front door. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
