Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right and/or left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

    2. Object Number: 624143 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 629246 Size: SH
  3. Remove the horn bracket bolt.

    4. Object Number: 624136 Size: SH
  4. Remove the horn from the front bumper impact bar.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 624136 Size: SH
  1. Position the horn to the front bumper impact bar; position the horn anti-rotation tab onto the tab on the front bumper impact bar.

    2. Object Number: 629246 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the horn bracket bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the horn electrical connector.
  4. Install the right and/or left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
