Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 629069 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat belt center latch to buckle.

    2. Object Number: 620962 Size: SH
  2. Remove the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 620819 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat belt center retractor bolt.

    4. Object Number: 620821 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat center belt retractor from the rear roof rail panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 620821 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat belt center retractor to the rear roof rail panel.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolt to the rear seat belt center retractor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt center retractor bolt to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

  4. Install the rear seat belt center latch to buckle.
