Preliminary Procedures

1. Release electric park brake.

1.1.	Set ignition in Run mode and put your foot on top of the service brake.

1.2.	Press park brake switch down and hold for 5 seconds, then a solid yellow telltale is shown on instrument panel.

1.3.	Press park brake switch again within 5 seconds, then a flashing yellow telltale is shown on instrument panel.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
4. Remove the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .

Tighten
9.5 N·m (84 lb in)

Procedure

Program the electric park brake module. Refer to Electronic Parking Brake Control Module Programming and Setup .
