Removal Procedure
- Remove the front track adjuster covers from the front seat adjusters by spreading the legs and pulling them off.
- Remove the rear adjuster track cover retaining screw from the adjuster track cover manual seat.
- Remove the track cover.
- For the rear adjuster covers on the power seats, spread the legs of the covers , pull back and remove them from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the rear seat track adjuster covers to the rear of the adjuster power seats.
- Install the rear manual seat adjuster track cover retaining screw to the rear adjuster track cover manual seat.
- Install the front track adjuster cover to the front seat adjuster manual and power seats.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
