Removal Procedure

  1. To access the seat belt buckle nut do the following:
  2. • For bucket seats, position the seat in the forward position.
    • For split bench seats, remove the adjuster to floor pan bolts and tip the seat forward.

  3. Remove the nut from the seat belt buckle.
  4. Remove the seat belt buckle from the right front seat.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 519341  Size: SH
  1. Position the seat belt buckle to the right front seat.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the seat belt buckle nut.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt buckle nut to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  5. If split bench, install the adjuster to floor pan bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  7. Position the right front seat to the original position.
