Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear seat sound barrier. Refer to Rear Seat Back Sound Barrier Replacement in Interior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 426603  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the low frequency audio amplifier.
  5. Loosen the nuts on the low frequency audio amplifier.
  6. Move the low frequency audio amplifier to the right and down.
  7. Remove the low frequency audio amplifier from the rear shelf.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 426603  Size: SH
  1. Align the studs to the rear window panel slots and slide into place.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Tighten the low frequency audio amplifier nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the low frequency audio amplifier nuts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connectors to the low frequency audio amplifier.
  6. Install the rear seat sound barrier. Refer to Rear Seat Back Sound Barrier Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
