Heater Outlet Pipe Replacement 3.1L

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
2. Remove the AIR check valve.
3. Disconnect the outlet hose (2) from the outlet pipe.
4. UseJ 38185 in order to reposition the heater hose outlet clamp.



5. Remove the heater outlet pipe.

1. Connect the outlet hose (2) to the outlet pipe.
2. UseJ 38185 in order to reposition the heater hose outlet clamp.
3. Install the AIR check valve.



4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Heater Outlet Pipe Replacement 3.8L

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Remove the AIR check valve.
3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater outlet pipe using the J 38185 .



4. Remove the heater outlet pipe.

1. Connect the outlet hose to the outlet pipe.
2. UseJ 38185 in order to reposition the heater hose outlet clamp.
3. Install the AIR check valve, if necessary.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
