CHILD SEAT INSTALLATION ON VEHICLES W/AUTO. SAFETY BELTS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987-90 H/N/L AND W CARS

To install a child's seat in models listed above equipped with automatic safety belts, a separate child seat restraint is required. A child seat restraint belt package is available only as a dealer installed option, and are available only in the colour black. Accessory packages listed below are available through CANSPO:

Refer to Figures 1 and 2 for copies of the installation sheet and template that are in the hardware packages.

The child seat restraint accessory belt package kit and installation of same will be on a "No Charge To Owner" basis.

Warranty Claim Information:

Complete the claim as a regular claim (Claim Type "Blank") and include the following:

Labour Operation Number: T8025

Time Allowance: .02 Hours

Approval is NOT required in the claim submission. This special Labour operation is to be used only for the initial installation of the child seat belt/hardware package as outlined in this bulletin.
