Electronic Navigation Antenna Replacement Module Assembly Radio Antenna

Removal Procedure

Important: It is not necessary to lower the steering column to remove the radio antenna module.

  1. Remove the navigational radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 1226967  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the navigational radio (1).
  4. Partially remove the instrument panel (I/P) assembly from the I/P structure, to gain access to the anetnna module retaining screw. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Insturment Panel Gages and Console.
  5. Remove the screw retaining the radio antenna module to the cross-car beam (2).
  6. Remove the antenna module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1226967  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna module to the vehicle.
  2. Install the screw retaining the antenna module to the cross-car beam (2).
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the screw.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the I/P assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel Gages and Console.
  7. Connect the electrical connector to the navigational radio (1).
  8. Install the navigational radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
