Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the moveable roof panel. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the moveable roof panel actuator cover. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Actuator Cover Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1222238 Size: SH
  3. Depress the retainer (1) on the moveable roof panel control module.
  4. Slide the control module towards the motor/actuator assembly to remove the module from the keyhole slots.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the moveable roof panel control module.
  6. Remove the module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1222238 Size: SH
  1. Install the tabs located on the bottom of the control module into the keyhole slots of the moveable roof panel assembly.
  2. Slide the control module away from the motor/actuator assembly, ensuring the tabs on the bottom of the control module remain in the keyhole slots.
  3. Slide the control module away from the motor/actuator assembly until the retainer (1) is fully engaged.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the control module.
  5. Install the moveable roof panel actuator cover. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Actuator Cover Replacement .
  6. Install the moveable roof panel. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Assembly Replacement .
  7. Perform a moveable roof panel learn cycle, by depressing the holding the roof switch in the forward position until the roof panel is fully opened, then depressing and holding the roof switch in the rearward position until the roof panel is fully closed.
  8. Ensure the proper operation of the moveable roof panel and end gate window.
