For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Open the ashtray lid.
- Insert fingers into the front portion of the opening.
- Lift the front portion up in order to release the spring clip.
- Slide the switch plate forward in order to release the rear retainer tabs.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the retainer tabs on the switch plate.
- Remove the power window switch.
Installation Procedure
- Snap the power window switch into the switch plate.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Insert the tabs at the rearward end of the switch plate under the door trim panel.
- Press down on the front edge of the switch plate in order to engage the retainer clip.
- Install the ashtray into the opening.
