Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 542542 Size: SH
  1. Lower the rear door window.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. Remove the inner belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Gently pry the front of the outer belt molding upwards in order to release.
  6. Lift the molding from the front to the rear in order to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 442907 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the rear door pinchweld flange .
    2. 1.1. Starting at the rear, align the sealing strip clips to the slots in the pinchweld flange of the door.
    1.2. Push the sealing strip down in order to fully seat and secure the strip to the door.
  2. Install the inner belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  3. Install the garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Raise the rear door window.
