Removal Procedure
  1. Partially open the IP compartment.
  2. Pull down the stops. Allow the IP compartment to travel past the stops.

    3. Object Number: 488046 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 5 fasteners (1) that connect the IP compartment bucket to the IP compartment door.
  4. Remove the IP compartment bucket from the IP compartment door.

    5. Object Number: 488049 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 2 fasteners (3) from the latch assembly.
  6. Disengage the rod (2) from the handle to the latch.

    7. Note the position of the rod for the proper installation.

  7. Remove the latch from the IP compartment.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 488049 Size: SH
  1. Partially install the latch.

    2. Install the rod (2) from the latch assembly to the handle.

  2. Install the latch assembly and the fasteners (3).

    3. Object Number: 488046 Size: SH
  3. Install the IP compartment bucket to the IP compartment door.
  4. Install the 5 fasteners (1) in order to fasten the IP compartment bucket to the IP compartment door.
  5. Close the IP compartment door.
  6. Check the latch operation.
