This bulletin is being revised to add additional models years. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-03-10-009.
Condition
Some customers may comment that the plastic wheel nut covers are missing and/or loose.
Correction
Important:
• DO NOT USE a silicone-based adhesive. • Do not apply the *Permatex® around the threads in a circular pattern. • Apply a single bead across the threads approximately 10 mm (0.4 in)
in length, 5 mm (0.2 in) in height and 5 mm (0.2 in)
in width.
Replace any missing plastic wheel nut covers with the appropriate covers and apply Permatex® #2 Form A Gasket Sealant® to the threads of all the plastic wheel nut covers. Tighten finger tight plus a 1/4 turn with a hand wrench.
