The SIR system diagnosis found in the above mentioned service manual has been revised to avoid confusion and misdiagnosis of the SIR system (driver only).

The revision (see illustrations) should replace the following pages for proper SIR system diagnosis:

1991 Buick Park Avenue / Park Avenue Ultra ESM, pages 120 and 124

Please update your respective service manual accordingly.
