Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
2. Remove the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement .

Steering Column Telescope Actuator Cable

Tip
The steering column telescope actuator cable contains ends that must be gently squeezed to release it from the telescope actuator assembly and the telescope motor assembly.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

2. Transfer any parts as needed.
