Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1660849 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front frame. Refer to Front Frame Replacement .
  2. Remove the engine mount bracket to cylinder head bolts.
  3. Remove the upper engine mount bracket to lower engine mount bracket nuts.
  4. Remove the upper engine mount bracket.

    5. Object Number: 1660864 Size: SH
  5. Remove the transaxle brace bolt.

    6. Object Number: 1660847 Size: SH
  6. Remove the lower engine mount bracket to engine stud nuts.
  7. Remove the transaxle brace.
  8. Remove the lower engine mount bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1660847 Size: SH
  1. Install the lower engine mount bracket onto the engine studs.
  2. Install the transaxle brace.
  3. Install the lower engine mount bracket to engine stud nuts finger tight.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1660864 Size: SH
  4. Install the transaxle brace bolt.

    5. Tighten

        • Tighten the transaxle brace bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
        • Tighten the lower engine mount bracket to engine stud nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

    Object Number: 1660849 Size: SH
  5. Install the upper engine mount bracket onto the studs.
  6. Install the engine mount bracket to cylinder head bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  7. Install the upper engine mount bracket to lower engine mount bracket nuts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  8. Install the front frame. Refer to Front Frame Replacement .
