Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1672169 Size: SH
  1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement.
  2. Place the EVAP canister on a suitable work surface.
  3. Rotate the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve counterclockwise.

    4. Object Number: 1672170 Size: SH
  4. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1672170 Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve.

    2. Object Number: 1672169 Size: SH
  2. Rotate the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve clockwise until the solenoid valve comes to a stop in the retainer.
  3. Install the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement.
