Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the windshield frame reinforcement.
4. Disconnect the wiper transmission electrical connector from the main engine harness.

Windshield Washer System Module Bolt

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip

1. Raise the rearward edge of the module assembly out of the plenum panel first followed by wiper motor.
2. Tighten bolts in sequence as shown upon installation.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)
