Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the washer hose from the heater and drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.

Windshield Washer Solvent Heater Nut (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Tighten the nuts in sequence as shown.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Engine Harness Electrical Connector (Qty: 2)

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connectors 2-way and 6-way at the base of the washer solvent heater.

Windshield Washer Hose Connection

Tip
Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the top side of the washer solvent heater.
