Preliminary Procedure

Open both doors on the side that the rocker panel lower molding is being removed from.

Rocker Panel Molding Retainer Screws (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rocker Panel Lower Retainers (Qty: 6)

Tip

1. Release the 6 lower retainers by pulling downward at each location prior to releasing the 10 upper retainers from the lower rocker.
2. Use the front fender clip to locate the rocker molding upon installation.

Rocker Panel Molding Assembly

Tip

1. Upon installation, ensure both doors are in the open position.
2. Install the first upper clip on the rocker molding assembly to the side frame lower panel.
3. Working front to rear secure the remaining upper rocker molding clips.
4. Secure the 6 lower rocker molding clips.
5. Install the front and rear screws.
6. Close the front and rear door.

J-Clip (Qty: 2)

Tip
Ensure the J-clips are not broken, replace all damaged clips prior to installing the rocker molding screws.
