Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling or SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
  2. Move the seat to the full forward position.

  3. Object Number: 291625  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat track fastener trim cover on the inboard seat track.

  5. Object Number: 430372  Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear seat track trim cover (1) from the outboard seat track.

  7. Object Number: 430375  Size: SH
  8. Remove the seat track fastener trim cover (1) on the outboard track by pushing the cover out from the inside of the seat track with a flat bladed tool.

  9. Object Number: 469175  Size: SH
  10. Remove the seat track bolts.

  11. Object Number: 470256  Size: SH
  12. Move the seat to the full rearward position.
  13. Remove the front seat track fastener trim covers.
  14. Remove the front seat track bolts.

  15. Object Number: 470257  Size: SH
  16. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  17. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat into the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 470257  Size: SH
  3. With seat tilted forward, connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 469175  Size: SH
  5. Lower the rear of the seat and install the bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the seat bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat track fastener trim covers.
  8. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 470256  Size: SH
  9. Install the forward seat track bolts.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the seat bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  11. Install the front seat track cover.
  12. Reposition the seat.
  13. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling or SIR Disabling and Enabling in Seat Belts.
