When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Condition/Concern:

The vehicles with the Delphi Bosch 5.3 system may exhibit an ABS DTC C1225 left front wheel speed excessive. If after normal diagnosis, multiple parts have been replaced (WSS, hub, wiring harness, EBTCM, etc.) check to see if the customer uses a cell phone that would be plugged into one of the power outlets for charging. It has been found that when a cell phone is plugged into the vehicle, EMI may be induced into the WSS circuit triggering a false C1225. By looking at scan tool data with vehicle in park, the technician should notice no wheel speed, but by plugging in the (charger only), the wheel speed may jump up between (0-20 mph). By then attaching the phone to the charger, the wheel speed may jump up as high as 100 mph indicating a bad charger.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Replace cell phone charger to correct condition.
