Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.

  2. Object Number: 207435  Size: SH

    Caution: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Bend the retaining tab for the EVAP canister vent valve.
  5. Remove the valve from the bracket.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the EVAP canister vent valve .
  7. Loosen the vent hose clamp and remove the vent hose from the EVAP vent valve.
  8. Remove the EVAP canister vent valve from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 207435  Size: SH
  1. Connect the vent hose to the EVAP canister vent valve and tighten the hose clamp.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the EVAP canister vent valve.
  3. Install the EVAP canister vent valve to the bracket.
  4. Bend the retaining tab for the EVAP canister vent valve.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
