  1. Disconnect the lamp control module (LCM) connector C1.
  2. Connect a DMM from the LCM connector C1 cavity C (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15V

  1. Reconnect the LCM connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the headlamp switch connector.
  3. Connect a fused jumper from the headlamp switch connector cavity G (GRY/BLK) to cavity H (BLK/WHT).

Do the park lamps light?

  1. Disconnect the LCM connector C1.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the LCM connector C1 cavity C (ORN) to cavity A (PPL).

Do the park lamps light?

Inspect for an open in CKT 256 (PPL) between the LCM and the IP fuse block. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for an open in CKT 251 (BLK/WHT) between the headlamp switch and S293. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 251 OK?

  2. Connect a DMM from the LCM connector C1 cavity H (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

  1. Backprobe the RH IP fuse block park lamp relay position K connector with a test lamp from cavity 85 (LT BLU) to ground.
  2. Place the headlamp switch in the PARK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Backprobe the RH IP fuse block park lamp relay position K connector from cavity 30 (ORN) to cavity 86 (BLK).

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Remove the park lamp relay position K from the RH IP fuse block.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the RH IP fuse block position K connector cavity 30 (ORN) to cavity 87 (BRN).
