DTC C0095 00: Right Rear ABS Solenoid 2 Circuit Malfunction

Circuit Description

The inlet and outlet valve solenoid circuits are supplied with battery power when the ignition is ON. The EBCM controls the valve functions by grounding the circuit when necessary.

Conditions for Running the DTC

    • Ignition ON.
    • The DTC can set when the vehicle speed is greater then 6 km/h (4 mph) and the brake pedal is not applied or vehicle speed is greater then 15 km/h (9 mph) and the brake pedal is applied.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The DTC will set when the EBCM detects a short to B+, short to ground, or an open/high resistance in the solenoid coil or circuit, internal to the EBCM only.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

If equipped, the following actions occur:

    • The EBCM disables the ABS/TCS/VSES/DRP for the duration of the ignition cycle.
    • The ABS indicator illuminates.
    • The Stability Off indicator illuminates.
    • The Red BRAKE Warning indicator could illuminate.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

    • The condition for the DTC is no longer present.
    • The EBCM clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles.

Diagnostic Aids

The solenoid valve circuit and the solenoid coil are internal to the EBCM. No part of the solenoid circuit is diagnosable external to the EBCM. The DTC sets when there is a malfunction in the solenoid circuit internal to the EBCM only.
