    • J 28677 Drive Sprocket Support Bearing Installer
    • J 36850 Transmission Assembly Lubricant

  1. Assemble J 28677 and J 8092 .
  2. Lubricate drive sprocket support bearing (521) with J 36850 .
  3. Important: When installing the new bearing the part number should be visible (facing upward).

  4. Using the assembled tool, press in the drive sprocket support bearing (521).

  5. Object Number: 10583  Size: SH
  6. Install the drive sprocket support assembly (522).
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the four drive sprocket support bolts (524).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
