Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1856014 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water outlet. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
  3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir bracket bolts (1).
  4. Remove and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir bracket (2) out of the way.

    5. Object Number: 1860429 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (8) from the bank 2 intake camshaft position (CMP) sensor (7).

    6. Object Number: 1860459 Size: SH
  6. Remove the CMP sensor bolt and sensor (3).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1860459 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor (3) and bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (8) to the bank 2 intake CMP sensor (7).

    3. Object Number: 1856014 Size: SH
  3. Position and install the power steering fluid reservoir bracket (2).
  4. Install the power steering fluid reservoir bracket bolts (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (8 lb in).

  5. Install the radiator inlet hose to the water outlet. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
  6. Install the engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
