TAIL LAMP SUBSTITUTION SERVICE USAGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: Caprice Station Wagon

Due to a shortage of production tall lamps, vehicles have been built with substitute lamp assemblies. The breakpoints for substitute lamps at the affected assemblv plants are as follows:

Fairfax Started with VIN EX146940

Oshawa Intermittent substitution starting with VIN E9183460, total substitution starting with VIN E9216649.

Tail lamp substitution should end approximately June 1, 1984. The visual difference in the tail lamps is in the back-up light, as shown below:
