ORGANIZING SPECIAL SERVICE TOOLS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: All Passenger Cars and L.D. Trucks

In response to Dealer requests, Kent-Moore Corporation has designed unique new plastic box system to provide an organized approach to storing special seivice tools. The Kent-Moore General Motorss Tool inventory and Organizational System Manual describes this new system as well as the traditional pegboard system now offered for all GM tools. These organizational programs have recently been expanded and updated to accommodate all Kent-Moore tools you may have in inventory. The book will provide identification of tools currently on hand and allow you to dispose of obsolete items. Dealers will receive this book in the November 30, 1983 Greater Marketing Package.

We encourage you to review this book to determine what organizational method best suits your individual needs. You have a sizeable investment in tools and equipment, and we recommend tool organization for better tool utilization and protection. An organized service facility benefits both you and your customers. Having the proper special tools on hand and being able to find them when you need them is absolutely necessary. Kent-Moore now offers the organizational 'tools' to help accomplish this!

We believe this source and their equipment to be reliable. There may be additional manufacturers of such equipment. General Motors does not endorse, indicate any preterence for, or assume any responsibility for the products or equipment from these firms, or from any such items which may be available from other sources.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
