A/C MOAN REDUCTION BRACE AND BRACKET INSTALLATION

Models Affected: 1982-83 Regal, LeSabre, Electra and Riviera with 3.8l or 4.1L V-6 Engine

This bulletin supersedes Dealer Service Bulletin 83-196, which should be discarded.

Some of the above models equipped with a 3.8L (VIN Code A) or 4.1L (VIN Code 4) V-6 engine and air conditioning may experience a moan condition at 50-55 mph or approximtely 1,300 engine rpm.

The brace and bracket used in production for 1984 models will repair this condition.
