VEHICLES AFFECTED: All Passenger 1983-84

The use of lightweight bumper materials on some car models means that bumper mounted hitches can no longer be used on these models.

Inability to use a bumper hitch does not mean a trailer cannot be towed. It does mean that at least a light weight frame/body hitch is required.

The following table indicates 'Yes' you can use a bumper mounted hitch, or 'No' you cannot use a bumper mounted hitch.
