1980 REAR BRAKE ASSEMBLY FOUND ON 1981 MODELS

SOME 1981 CUTLASS MODELS WILL HAVE 1980 MODEL REAR BRAKE ASSEMBLIES. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO BRAKE ASSEMBLIES IS IN THE CONFIGURATION OF WHEEL CYLINDER PILOT AND THE CORRESPONDING HOLE IN THE BACKING PLATE AS SHOWN IN FIG. 2. WHEN MAKING REPAIRS ON A 1981 CUTLASS CHECK TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS A 1980 BACKING PLATE AND WHEEL CYLINDER. IF EQUIPPED WITH 1980 PARTS BE SURE TO ORDER THE CORRECT PART NUMBER.
